BIM Modelling is the foundation of BIMeng. We create architectural, structural, MEP and civil models from scratch or alternatively converting 2D drawings or schematics into 3D models.
We offer third party BIM modelling auditing to assist our clients to obtain reliable output from BIM. It is highly recommended and good practice to have an objective third party validate all BIM models developed throughout a project, in order to save time, costs and prevent issues.
The level of detailing in a model is determined by the standards and different Levels Of Development (LOD). Depending on the BIM output required, a model with lower LOD can be generated for Clash detection. Moreover, more complex models can be produced for quantity take-off, fabrication models as well as LOD 500 models for 6D facility management purpose.
We generate As-Built drawings as well as models with the information incorporated, such as Cobie. We can link all design data, cut-sheet data and field changes to the BIM model for close-out. We can integrate all metadata necessary for future use in the model.
For certain projects, the presence of our BIM experts on-site improves communication, increases efficiency and helps to get a better understanding of the needs. One or more of our qualified BIM staff can be assigned on-site for further assistance, working beside your team for as long as the project may last.
